New full time residents of the Cape wanted to refreshed their yard. We regraded the driveway, added cobblestone edging to blend in with the cobblestone on the edge of their new brick walkway. We installed a platform for their new shed, graded the backyard so the access to the shed was comfortable and transplanted some bushes and flowers. The homeowner desired to have a small beautiful green lawn. We added compost, rototilled, hydroseeded and installed irrigation. While we were there we fixed the improperly installed cobblestone edging by cementing it in, and graded and refreshed the driveway with the stone it required. Our customer has enjoyed this residence as a summer get away for themselves and family for decades. In the fall of 2014 Grass Roots installed an irregular bluestone flagging walkway with cobblestone edging to make the path smooth and safe for travel, without making it look too formal.
