Eastham Landscape Overhaul
The property is located off the beaten path, in the woods in Eastham. We had a lot of fun putting this landscape plan together for a great client we have been working with on maintenance for almost a decade. There was not much that was left untouched and the scope of work included a newly seeded lawn, tree & shrub plantings, both aided with an irrigation system. The walkway was installed using a Goshen stone, brought in from Connecticut by the customer, and edged with jumbo cobblestones. The walkway leads from the back of the house and splits into separate areas of the driveway also lined in cobble. The driveway was graded and surfaced with a mix of native stone & shell over a processed hardener base. The apron was added to create a smooth transition from the dirt road. The plantings installed included lots of shade loving shrubs, ornamental trees, evergreens for privacy, along with summer color and perennials along the high traffic areas. There will be tons of spring color from the azaleas, Rhododendrons, crab apples, magnolias, and a dogwood tree. Forsythia abuts one side of the driveway to bring the early spring yellow along with shielding the street. Summer color is seen in the perennial garden along the walkway and from a mix of hydrangeas & roses where we had pockets of sun.
